AI as a fundamental part of business | Singularity Tech Day 2025 Summary

Yesterday took place the sixth edition of Singularity Tech Day, organized by Plain Concepts and the success is indisputable.

The event of the year on innovation, business, news, and use cases in the field of artificial intelligence gathered, in its first edition in Madrid, more than 200 representatives of the business sector in a day full of learning about how artificial intelligence has become a crucial tool to generate business value. Advances in cognitive agents, the power of data, new generation chips or digital humans have opened a new wave of innovation called to grow exponentially in industries.

The event discussed how companies are approaching the implementation of artificial intelligence from a practical and technical perspective, with keys to ensure its correct application, improving the efficiency of processes, increasing critical business security, and strengthening compliance and availability, from top-level firms such as Microsoft, Intel, Google, Iberdrola, Ferrovial, Grup Mediapro, Founderz, ISDIN, Snowflake and Siemens.

What’s next for Artificial Intelligence?

During the conference, pioneering firms in the development of AI, such as Microsoft, Google, Intel, and Snowflake, presented the concepts that are shaping the course of this technology and its rapid evolution. For example, the morphology of cognitive agents, driven by generative AI, enables the creation of autonomous and adaptive systems.

Also, Microsoft Fabric technology, presented as a possible real case of a customer staging the potential problems and solutions of this solution to revolutionize data management and artificial intelligence thanks to its advanced capabilities to integrate, analyze, and visualize data efficiently, allowing organizations to make more informed and strategic decisions. Or how Copilot has become an assistant in the daily work of thousands of companies.

On the other hand, Intel showed the importance in the whole chain of the technology and hardware sector of something as small as chips, their current impact, and their main uses in different industries.

And, in addition, the best way to address generative AI, privacy, and data gravity as transformative factors in today’s technology landscape, which can save time and costs, allowing organizations to get more value by mobilizing their data and applications, was discussed.

The two sides of the AI coin

After the presentation and welcome by Pablo Peláez, he reviewed the evolution of global investment in this technology and future expectations. Pau García-Milà, CEO of Founderz, was in charge of talking about the friendlier and less friendly side of this technology, exposing reasons and practical and live cases that explained how AI can be the best thing that has happened to us in many years at a technological level, or a danger if it is not used responsibly and consciously.

Business trends in the use of AI

The speakers at Singularity Tech Day 2025 presented use cases that are a reality in their work dynamics. In the audiovisual sector, Grup Mediapro explained how its AI center of excellence manages transversal initiatives that strategically place this technology at the center of every aspect of the value chain within the sector, using it as a lever to drive innovation and development, both in automatic subtitling and in the generation of images and digital models with Gaussian Splatting or the streamlining of processes in audiovisual creation and production.

In the field of medicine, ISDIN has been in charge of showing real projects of how AI is helping in the development of solutions that mix neuroscience, chips, and advanced research of diseases such as Alzheimer’s or Parkinson’s. For its part, Iberdrola wanted to explore the keys to the success of its GenAI Competence Center, where it addressed how it accelerates business value through its methodology, relying on global platforms, establishing capabilities, best practices, and global/local coordination.

The representatives of Plain Concepts were in charge of the most innovative part, dealing with topics such as the myths about this technology, the keys to scaling solutions with AI agents, or the fascinating evolution of technologies that allow us to interact with machines in increasingly natural ways, such as 3D avatars in real-time.

Finally, a round table discussion was held, with guests from companies such as Ferrovial and Siemens Mobility, which delved into the latest technological innovations, challenges, and opportunities that AI offers to transform infrastructure, improve efficiency, and enhance the sustainability of rail transport and mobility.

After the success of this sixth edition, we are already looking forward to the next one, in which we will be delighted to count again the attendees of this edition and the new ones who want to join this incredible experience.

Until then, stay tuned because we will publish the talks of this edition soon.
