Plain Concepts reinforces its commitment to diversity and inclusion by joining REDI
Working in a space where everyone feels included and safe, regardless of gender, nationality, sexual orientation, gender identity, or religion, is fundamental to building a solid and valued team.
At Plain Concepts, we believe in having an inclusive work culture, valuing different experiences and perspectives. That is why we created the Diversity and Inclusion Committee and implemented internal training to raise awareness among employees, the creation of diverse teams in all departments, and events that promote female technical talent.
Now, it is time to take a step further in this fight for equal opportunities, and, therefore, we have joined REDI, the Enterprise Network for Diversity and LGTBI Inclusion.
Enterprise Network for Diversity and LGBTI Inclusion
REDI is the first enterprise network working for diversity and inclusion of the LGTBI community in the workplace in Spain. It has more than a hundred associated companies. It is a permanent forum for consultation and exchange for the business sector to give visibility to diversity in organizations and support awareness and best practices.
Spain ranks sixth among the European states with one of the most inclusive legislation with the rights of the LGTBI collective. However, there is still a long way to go eradicating prejudices and stereotypes that prevent people from this group to develop professionally in a whole way.
With this initiative, we want to improve the work environment and inclusion, allowing each person to express themselves as they are, regardless of their sexual orientation and gender identity. We embrace the uniqueness and diversity of each team member, and we will continue to strive to implement many more actions.
